This is a great product. We have over 70 users registered and live requirements data is also available online (intranet) using Confluence and JIRA. Projects with several thousand requirements are handled with ease.

I started with v1.7.8 in 2014, having used early DOORS versions before that. All feature requests and bug reports have been received with enthusiasm by the technical support team and responded to promptly. I feel privileged to have contributed to its development.

The spreadsheet-style presentation of data helps to make the user interface intuitive. Editing single requirements and sets is straightforward with useful bulk operations. For requirements analysis, maximum use is made of selectable field types for easy manipulation and review.

We wanted a JIRA integrated requirements management tool that provided traceability and reporting throughout the development and test cycle and RMsis gave us exactly what we wanted.

Some might think the UI is a bit 'spreadsheety', but in our organisation, this was actually a benefit providing familiarity for our users to begin using it with.

We have made good use of the API and now have our automated tests updating RMsis giving us complete lifecycle tracking. Also for us, the fact it uses it own standalone database and doesn't follow the standard JIRA user license model, made procurement in a large organisation like ours. much easier.

We intend to use it on more projects in the near future... Well done team, keep up the good work..!

Simply a great plugin

  • Requirements great - even larger amounts (2000+) are handled smoothly

  • Quality great - I have not found a bug after two month
