Share URL or Embed with Confluence

Want your team to see the exact same Report X view you’re looking at — without endless screenshots, exports, or “Can you send me that report?” messages?

With just a couple of clicks, you can generate a Shareable URL in Report X and With Confluence, you can easily embed full Report X views directly in your pages. This enables seamless display of Report X functionality without leaving Confluence.

  1. Copy the Shareable URL of Report X

    • Open the view you want in Report X.

    • Click the Share current view button.

    • This copies a unique link to your clipboard.

Displaying Report X Outside Jira in Confluence

Your Jira and Confluence instances must be connected (within the same domain). If they aren’t, the app will show an authorization error.

Check with your Jira admin if you are not certain about the connection

  1. After copy the URL from Report X, Navigate to the Desired Confluence Page where you want to display the Report X view.

  2. Insert the iFrame Macro

    • Open the Macro menu on your page.

    • Choose the iFrame macro.

  1. Configure the iFrame

    • Paste the link copied from Report X into the URL field.

  1. Set Width to 100%.

    • Set Height to approximately 640.

  1. Publish and Adjust Display

    • Use the Go Wide option (at the bottom of the macro) for a full-window view.

  1. Click Publish to save the changes.
