Export CSV Report

Report X allows you to instantly export the information currently displayed in your table view or card view into a CSV file. This export captures all visible details, such as work items, hierarchy levels, summaries, and a wide range of Jira fields, making it easy to perform offline analysis or share with your team.

How to Export Your Report to CSV

  1. Open Report X in Jira.

  2. Set up the desired report hierarchy. Creating Customise Work Items Hierarchy

  3. Click the Export icon in the top toolbar of your report.

  4. Your CSV file will be automatically downloaded to your device.

What’s Included in the Export

  • All visible information from your current Hierarchy table view or card view.

  • Jira fields that are currently enabled in Report X.

  • Hierarchy indicators in the leftmost column, helping you identify parent and child relationships.

If certain Jira fields are missing from your CSV, enable those fields within your report configuration. Once enabled, they will appear in future exports.

Linked work items that have not been expanded will not appear in the exported file. Only the hierarchy indicator will show their position in the structure.

With this feature, you can create a tailored export that mirrors exactly what you see in your report, ensuring a comprehensive and structured dataset for your analysis.
