E-SignSeal — Contract Execution for Jira is a Forge-native e-signature app that handles the complete contract signing lifecycle without leaving your Jira workspace. From drafting a reusable template to collecting legally binding signatures and auto-attaching the sealed PDF to an issue, every step happens inside Atlassian infrastructure.

Contract execution traditionally forces your team out of Jira. You draft a document in one tool, collect signatures in another, chase signers by email, and then manually upload the executed PDF back to the issue. Context switches slow deals and create compliance gaps.
E-SignSeal collapses that workflow into Jira. A Sender creates a contract from a reusable template, assigns signers from your Jira user directory, and sends it — all from a single Jira-native interface. Signers receive an in-app notification and complete the signing session in their browser. The fully executed, tamper-evident PDF is automatically attached to the linked Jira issue the moment the last signature lands.
What zero-external-data means
E-SignSeal runs entirely on Atlassian's Forge platform. No contract content, signature data, or signer identity is transmitted to third-party servers. Your documents stay where your team already works.
Core capabilities
Template editor — Rich-text contract authoring with Jira merge fields that auto-populate issue data (summary, assignee, due date, and more) at send time.
Parallel signing — All signers are notified simultaneously and can sign in any order.
OTP identity verification — Each signer authenticates with a one-time code sent to their Jira-registered email before they can sign.
Sealed PDF generation — After all signers complete the session, E-SignSeal produces a PDF with embedded signatures and an appended audit certificate.
Auto-attachment — The sealed PDF is attached to the linked Jira issue automatically, keeping all contract evidence in one place.
