Display Fields Configuration
Display fields control which Salesforce fields appear in the issue panel when a record is linked. This is configured per Salesforce object type (Case, Lead, Opportunity, Contact) on each connection, and applies to all bindings that use that connection.
By default, the panel shows the record name and ID. Adding display fields lets your team see the most relevant Salesforce data — status, priority, account name, close date — without leaving Jira.
Configuring Display Fields
Open the Connections tab and click on a connection to expand its detail.
Under Display Fields, find the Salesforce object type you want to configure (e.g. Case).
Enter the API field names you want to display, separated by commas — for example: Status,Priority,AccountName,Subject.
Click Save.

Display field names must be valid Salesforce API field names for that object. To find them, check your Salesforce object's field list in Setup → Object Manager or use the Field Mappings drawer in any binding's entity mapping — it lists available fields with their API names.
What Your Team Sees
After saving, the next time a team member opens a linked issue and the panel pulls data from Salesforce, the configured fields appear as a list on the association card.

Field Display Notes
Fields are fetched from Salesforce each time the user clicks Pull or when the panel data is refreshed.
If a field name is invalid for the object type, that field is silently omitted from the display.
Display fields are separate from field mappings — they control what you see, not what gets synced to Jira fields.
